Building Credibility & Inspiring Others Workshop (July 2023) - In building collaborative non-profit organizations to serve our community, credibility is extremely important. Credibility is not limited to organizational credibility; it also includes personal credibility. Are you consistent? Are you persistent? Do you take action? Do you own not only your own choices but the consequences of your choices? The way we inspire others is by building credibility through authenticity. This workshop really centers on self-awareness. It focuses on credibility and inspiring others to dig deep to know and understand our own locus of control. When we do that for ourselves, it will be a natural fit to also explore credibility and use credibility to inspire others within our organizations.
Breakout Session Speaker (June 2023) - Join the Illinois New Teacher Collaborative for our conference series titled, Growing as Leaders, Mentors, and Beginning Teachers. Register for one, two, or all three conferences on June 13-15, 2023 to be held at the I-Hotel in Champaign, Illinois. The Annual Leadership Conference titled, Growing as Leaders While Supporting Beginning Teachers, will be held on June 15, 2023. This collaborative conference will feature speaker Jones Loflin, breakout sessions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.
Courage and Resilience Education (March 2023) PDHs: 6 Hours - Join Dr. Juanita Morris, Carrie Hogue and Sarah Smith for a day full of active learning and laughter centered around educator wellness. Educators will leave the workshop with ideas to use in the classroom as well as knowledge of the 4 components of the "Circle of Courage" - Belonging, Mastery, Independence and Generosity. The day will include presentations from Nadie Machkovech with RISE Together and an activity with Liz Swarthout from Let's Paint with Liz. Lunch will be provided and participants will have a chance to collaborate with community organizations.
